McCraw/McGraw Regional Reunion Met

Last Summer in North Carolina

On July 18, 2010, the fourteenth Annual McCraw-McGraw Family Reunion met in the

Hospitality Area of the Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC, the reunion having

migrated there in about 1987, in part from South Carolina reunions established in the early

'70's by Rev. Paul B. McCraw, Sr., his brother, Frank McCraw, and Dr. Faye McCraw Moore.

About 70 relatives and friends enjoyed much conversation, a covered-dish dinner, and

an exciting program by Dean McCraw of Savannah, GA, who presented information on plans

for a trip to Ireland in June, 2011. There was a presentation of a book by Dr. Faye Moore, of

Gladstone, MO, on the subject of the Irish Type III DNA. Also discussed are plans being

made by Paul McGraw of Spartanburg, SC, for hosting the 2012 USMFA reunion.
